Anthony Pizzoferrato graduated from the Chicago School of Massage Therapy in 1990. He completed an internship at Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, Illinois. He has volunteered and done service work at the Aids Alternative Project in Chicago, and the Names project San Francisco. He now lives in San Diego and has earned a certificate through the bereavement program at San Diego Hospice.

In 1991, a series of events leading to the death of his brother created a need for Anthony to search spiritually. He first studied with Elizabeth- Kubler-Ross. He was taught skills of touch to assist with the seriously ill, hospice patients and family members. He explored Reiki energy and became a Reiki Master. Yet, still looking for answers and on a healing path himself, Anthony has learned many skills and rituals for Native American or Shamanic traditions. He learned how to integrate this work into his healing practice. Michael Harner, Sandra Ingerman, Linda Howe, Marilee Snyder, and Barbara Brennan have been role models and teachers for him.

Today, Anthony practices Neuromuscular Massage Therapy, which is effective in the relief of chronic pain. He sees the value of integrating spiritual work such as Reiki, Shamanic Healing, and Akashic Record Reading. Afer working with the body over 18 years, Anthony understands the importance of integrating physical, spiritual, and emotional healing into our lives. Healing Touch is a method of energy clearing or balancing that Anthony has been introduced to in a hospital where he works as a nurse assistant. He find using this light and gentle approach is beneficial for centering and calming both patients and their family members.

Through his practice, Anthony is focused on assisting his patients and clients to gently move out of their pain and open to possibilities. His vast knowledge and experience of mastering these techniques brings health and healing to his patients and clients. He has learned over the past several years about self care. This is a very important part in most healing programs that lead to recovery and a new way of life. Using our intuitive sense and the integration of the body, mind and spirit are paths that lead us to becoming multi-sensory. When we use all of our gifts and talents with gratitude we have a foundation for a successful life, filled with abundance and our heart's desire.
